Theory in the morning, practice in the afternoon - like most courses organized by the Stoma Academy, this hands-on workshop was also structured in this way. The fully booked course with the internationally renowned speaker Dr. Jochen Tunkel was praised by the participants as very practical. They particularly liked, among other things, the underpinning by many scientific studies and results using good image and video material. Details were also very well conveyed by the speaker in individual steps. In the afternoon, in the live surgery, Dr. Tunkel implemented the techniques exactly as explained in the morning.

The participants were then allowed to put what they had learned into practice, among other things, the adaptation and insertion of allogeneic bone plates on the jaw model. For this, of course, instruments and micro-screws from Stoma were used, as well as equipment and materials from the long-standing partner Straumann.

For more than 15 years now, Dr. Tunkel has been working with Stoma / Storz am Mark and during this time has continuously optimized his instrument sets used in his practice for oral surgery, periodontology, implantology, as well as soft tissue management and augmentation.
