Stoma's young professionals enjoy a great trainee excursion in Stuttgart

For both its own production and administration, Stoma / Storz am Mark welcomed four new trainees at the beginning of September. Marius Hink and Markus Thompson are looking forward to their apprenticeship as industrial clerks (with additional qualification in international business management). The two trainees will learn a great deal of practical skills over the next three years and will be directly involved in tasks in the Customer Service / Sales, Warehouse / Shipping, Purchasing / Production Planning / Production Control departments as well as in Marketing and Quality Management.

Robert-Romain Dambacher and Marcel Merz have successfully started their training as tool mechanics (specializing in instrument technology) and will be learning the various stages of manual and mechanical production over the next two and a half years. Prior to this, the two have already attended the one-year technical school, where they were able to get a taste of the company air in Liptingen during a weekly practical day.

After a break of two years due to corona, Managing Director Tina Storz-Mazzeo was able to invite all trainees and their training supervisors to a joint excursion again, among other things with the aim of getting to know each other a little better. The group went to the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart, where they were given a personal tour. The permanent exhibition features more than 160 vehicles, from some of the oldest automobiles to research vehicles. Afterwards, there was still time to take another look at individual stations in the museum on their own.

In the city center of Stuttgart, they had lunch together at the burger restaurant "Peter Pane". Afterwards, the trainees had time to explore Königsstraße on their own before returning to Liptingen in the late afternoon. We wish all new trainees a great time during their training.
