Trainees take a canoe trip on Lake Constance

Since the beginning of September, Storz am Mark accompanies young graduates with their first professional steps.

This year, we were able to inspire Matthias Glinkowski for an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk in our family business. Frank Jonathan is also looking forward to his apprenticeship as a tool mechanic. From the beginning, the apprentices get to know the basic activities of their profession. The trainees from the second and third training year support their new colleagues, so that they learn to work independently.

Together with the companies Tontarra Medizintechnik from Wurmlingen and Trokamed from Geisingen, the apprentices and their trainers got to know each other better during the joint trainee trip. The group had good weather and went to Allensbach at Lake Constance where they rowed together in large canoes around the island Reichenau. Teamwork was needed, because only with the help of all apprentices together the canoes could be moved. The team spirit was enhanced by games such as racing and slalom, moreover they had a lot of fun due to several water battles. Before the next stage they took lunch at campsite Reichenau.

Back on land, the trainees and trainers had the opportunity to pass the time with football or table tennis. The trip ended with a dinner at the Landgasthof zur Sonne in Liptingen. We wish all apprentices a successful start.
