An eventful day full of valuable insights, sporting challenges and strong team spirit awaited the trainees of Stoma / Storz am Mark during this year’s trainee outing.

The day began at the company site with a joint breakfast. In a relaxed atmosphere, pretzels, coffee and cocoa provided the perfect setting for exchange and getting ready for the day ahead. A warm welcome was given to Dorian Derdowski, who started his apprenticeship as an industrial clerk in September. For him, it was the first trainee outing and a great opportunity to get to know his new colleagues better.

Afterwards, the group visited bronner + martin, a drop forge located just a few minutes from the company site. During a guided tour, the trainees gained interesting insights into the company’s processes and areas of work. The trip then continued by Stoma bus to the adventure forest in Mahlstetten. On the various climbing courses, skill, endurance and a bit of courage were required. In particular, the mutual support and encouragement created a great atmosphere and strengthened team spirit.

After the first round of climbing, the group headed to the Kirchbühlhütte for lunch. Over burgers, the trainees could recharge and enjoy the time together on the terrace in beautiful weather. With renewed energy, a second round in the climbing forest followed before returning to the company site in the afternoon, where the eventful day came to an end. The trainee outing offered a well-balanced mix of company insights, physical challenges and shared experiences. At the same time, it highlighted how important activities outside everyday work are for strong team cohesion.

Stoma / Storz am Mark is already looking for motivated young people to start their professional future with the company in September 2027.
