Organised by the Stoma® Academy, a practice-oriented workshop on „Incision, flap formation and suturing techniques for daily dental surgery“ was held in the group practice Dr. Kornmann & Dr. Gerlach and colleagues in Oppenheim. Speaker Dr. Till Gerlach knew how to inspire the mainly young participants, by his way to communicate and the right balance between theory and practice. He encouraged the participants to new techniques and gave practical tips and tricks from his experience.

Topics such as „atraumatic extraction“, „Apicoectomy“ and „Basics of simple cutting and flap technique in periodontology and implantology” were on the agenda. There was enough time for practical excercises. The participants were able to train incision, flap and suture techniques on pig jaws with stoma instruments and sutures.

Dr. Till Gerlach has established in the group practice Dr. Kornmann & Dr. Gerlach and colleagues in Oppenheim since 2009, with a focus on oral surgery, dental implantology and bone augmentation. In his work as speaker at congresses and trainings he is pleased to share his years of extensive experience.
