Farewell to well-deserved retirement after 49 years

For almost half a century, Albrecht Bertsche was in the service of Stoma / Storz am Mark.

He began his apprenticeship as a tool mechanic at the Liptingen-based instrument manufacturer already in 1974. At the beginning of his career, he was employed in autoclave production and later switched to the milling machine for the prefabrication of dental instruments. Mr. Bertsche was also very active in jig and fixture construction. He thereby used the full potential of the milling machine and thus built up an immense knowledge over the years. With his experience and creativity, he also solved tricky problems. This makes him a great role model for the next generation at the milling machine. The production manager also relied on the "database" in Albrecht Bertsche's head.

During the retirement celebration with sparkling wine, pretzels and cake, Managing Director Tina Storz-Mazzeo also shared a few of her memories with her employees. She herself was just a little girl when Albrecht Bertsche started as an apprentice. She thanked the future retiree for his many years of loyalty to the family business and presented him with a gift and cash present on his retirement. However, she is also pleased that Albrecht Bertsche will continue to support the company with his energy and experience on an hourly basis.
