The main topic of module 2 of this high-level course series was called “From the diagnosis to the resective surgery”. During the two-day, english speaking course Professor Giovanni Zucchelli DDS, PhD showed among others different techniques as e.g. the distal wedge technique, the crown-lengthening procedure and the apically positioned flap. The participants from Germany, France, Ireland, Lithuania, Estonia and even Taiwan closely observed how Professor Zucchelli demonstrated a technique on a pig jaw step by step. Afterwards he invited the participants to practice their technique on a pig jaw with the instruments and suture supplied by Stoma.
