Teambuilding together with the new apprentices

In September four new apprentices started into a new period of life at Storz am Mark GmbH.

Alena Schneider and Istvan Jojart began their apprenticeship in the technical area as tool mechanics. Yannik Werthwein and Nele Strübing are looking forward to their education as industrial management assistants in our family-owned company. The other trainees who already started their education one year ago informed the new apprentices about the basic procedures. All trainees have to acquire a lot of knowledge during their apprenticeship. In the beginning of this period they already learn to take responsibility and work for their own response. At the same time the team of Tontarra Medizintechnik GmbH in Wurmlingen have been have increased by four new apprentices in three different professionals.

Both companies together organized a trainee trip in order to know each other better and to grow into a team. During the outdoor-team-building in Langenargen (near the lake of Constance) all apprentices could prove their creativity and team spirit. Only with cooperation and communication the groups managed to build a floating raft. The result was tested on the water during races or balancing exercises. At lunchtime the whole crew strengthened themselves with a barbecue to master the upcoming exercises in the high ropes course, like crossing a slackline climbing up a sky ladder. These tasks were only possible with mutual trust, support and own strength. We wish all apprentices a successful start.
