Three new trainees begin their training at Stoma / Storz am Mark

At the beginning of September, three new trainees took their first steps into a new period of life at Stoma / Storz am Mark in Liptingen.

In the technical area, Benjamin Erlich will prove his skills during his training as a tool mechanic (specialized in instrument technology). Furthermore Anna Mader and Mara Endres are looking forward to their training as industrial management assistants in the family-owned enterprise. The instrument manufacturer provides its new trainees with a lot of practical knowledge during their apprenticeship. In addition, the trainees learn to take on responsibility at the beginning of their training and to work on their own after a short time. They are supported by their instructors, but also by the trainees from the second and third year of apprenticeship.

Destination of this year’s joint-trainee trip with perfect weather was the airport in Friedrichshafen. The trainees and their instructors got a guided tour „behind the scenes of an airport“ by the former CEO of the airport, Mr. Jürgen Bleibler. The group got a closer look about the history of the airport, the journey of the baggage after being dropped by the passengers, and the equipment of the airport fire department. In the end all trainees were allowed to take a look into the cockpit of a plane that just had landed.

At lunchtime, the group took a break just in front of the airport terminal to gain new power for the second stage of the trip. After the break they went into an escape room, where they required a large amount of skill, patience and teamwork to solve riddles, find hints, and finally free themselves out of a locked room within 60 minutes. Afterwards, the trainees and their instructors went back home to have dinner in the restaurant „Landgasthof zur Sonne“ in Liptingen. Stoma / Storz am Mark wishes all new trainees a great time during their training.
