Young people catch up on apprenticeship opportunities at Stoma / Storz am Mark

Instrument manufacturer Stoma / Storz am Mark has been exhibiting at the fair for professional education („Ausbildungsbörse“) in Tuttlingen for many years.

Many youngsters, often accompanied by their parents, use this platform to get advice on the possibilities of their future career. Many of them were interested in the training professions "industrial clerk" or "tool mechanic" (specialized in instrument technology) offered by Stoma / Storz am Mark.

Training managers Jasko Banda and Stefan König as well as the commercial apprentices Gina Renner, Fabiola Geiger, Rabea Harfmann, Yannik Werthwein and technical apprentices Kevin Meschkat and Alena Schneider replied to the various questions of the interested youngsers. They shared their positive experiences during their own apprenticeships at the family-owned company. Responsibility is given to them early in their apprenticeship and they are allowed to handle a variety of tasks themselves. They go through different departments or production groups during their apprenticeship and feel themselves as an important part of the company.

For the first time in the outdoor area, Stoma / Storz am Mark also advertised their own apprenticeships with the stoma®-red Piaggio APE. In addition, the currently available jobs and the services in production were advertised. The APE was definitely an eye-catcher and provided a topic of conversation.

The guessing game was also a great opportunity to get into a conversation with the visitors. Many of them guessed the amount of instrument inserts in a jar, put their completed card into the box and hoped for a prize. Niclas Herbert from Tuttlingen (guess: 1.579, prize: Stoma® powerbank), Carolin Mock from Bad-Dürrheim (guess: 1.621, prize: Stoma® backpack) and Anna Michalke from Immendingen (guess: 1.554, prize: cinema voucher) came closest to the actual amount of 1.596 pieces. The prizes will be sent by mail.
